Responsibilities:

  • Business sectors research including top down and bottom up approaches to support business expansion.

o   Top down approach – forecasting by incorporating changes in economic and business environment such as Socio-economic changes and trade and investment liberalization policy of particular sectors.

o   Bottom up approach – studying only specific factors affecting mainly on business sectors of interest.

  • Analyze study and present trend of business sectors and provide targeted sectors and concerned sectors to senior managements and officials in business departments on the biannual basis.
  • Summarize and report major business sectors to the risk committees on the regular basis, to create business opportunities and minimize business risk.
  • Provide industry early warning reports to senior managements and officials of the bank’s business units.
  • Analyze business sectors upon request of business units, Wholesale Banking and Commercial Banking in particular.
  • Company visit and Field Survey for an in-depth analysis of business.
  • Develop business database by linking various business databases, database of business enterprise in particular to support business expansion.
  • Support the public and customer relation activities of the Bank in order to add new marketing channels to the bank.
  • Present business/industry situations to the bank’s personals.
  • Perform any other duties as and when assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Economics, Business Administrator, Finance or related filed
  • Have 3 years experience in Financial or Economics Research

 1. International Advisory

 2. Market Intelligence

  • Industry-based research: To perform industry research for JPC/MNC Corporations to enhance business development by liaising and networking with KS and MUFG research teams

Qualifications:
